What Shadow Mode Collects

Shadow Mode observes anonymous visitor behavior on your direct booking site. This includes:

Pages viewed and navigation patterns
Time spent on site and individual pages
Device type and browser information
Referral source (how visitors found your site)
General browsing patterns (scroll depth, calendar interactions)

This data generates aggregate demand insights for property operators, understand who is browsing and what visitor segments are likely willing to pay.

What Shadow Mode Does NOT Collect

No personally identifiable information (PII)
No names, email addresses, or phone numbers
No cross-site tracking cookies
No login credentials or payment information
No IP addresses are stored

How Data Is Used

All collected data is processed into aggregate demand signals for the property operator. These signals help operators understand visitor intent and willingness to pay, enabling better pricing decisions. No individual visitor is ever identified.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties. Data is used exclusively to generate insights for the property operator whose site the visitor is browsing.

GDPR Compliance

Shadow Mode is designed to be GDPR-compliant by default. No personal data is collected or stored. All behavioral signals are anonymous and cannot be traced back to an individual. Because no personal data is processed, there is no data subject to access, correction, or deletion requests under GDPR.
